Karen is meeting renee for dinner to talk about her confirmation with Drita.
Karen still feels like the situation was not resolved and that Drita owes her an apology.

Drita is getting a call from Lee
She asks Lee where she should put her next tat. He says on the back of her neck so the “horny mother f**kers” don’t look at her. He say she likes the picture of the house but he wants pictures of her. She meals the last time she sent pics to him the guards sent them back because they were too sexy. She says shell send pics

Renee is meeting Carla for lunch
Carla tells Renee about the Drita and Karen incident. Renee clues Carla in that Karen feels that Drita is making light of the situation. Renee brings up Carla’s boyfriend and feels that Carla could do better. Carla feels that things are fine and that he’s good to her and all. Renee tells Carla she’s having a dinner party at her house and doesn’t want any drama and such. Renee wants to have all the girls there to kind clear the air

Nikole, Renee’s friend comes over and Renee talks about the jail mail she found. She said most of her friends were in jails and that was the only way she could keep in contact with them. Wait, I think she was referring to Junior being in prison so much. Renee wants to start a business called Jail Mail, Inc. (“We’re not incorporated, we’re incarcerated”) in which the person who has someone in jail or prison can send a card for different holidays to that person via the Internet. What basically happens is that Renee would be the one doing it. You get the picture. Renee has been sitting on this idea for about 26 years. I think its a good idea. I won’t have any use for it, but whatever.

Drita is getting clothes ready for her photo shoot for pictures to send to Lee. Her three year old is in the room with her and Drita says hear three year doesn’t know who Lee is. Blah blah blah.

Renee is calling Drita to invite her over for dinner. Drita is asking if the kids are allowed and Renee says no that she wants just the girls to come and talk.

Drita is at Carla’s house. Carla wants to fill Drita in on the conversation she had with Renee. Drita feels that it’s non of Renee’s business about her and Karens confrontation. Drita feels that Renee should mind her business. Drita asked Carla if she was invited to Renee’s party and she says yes. Carla says that Renee said she doesn’t want drama at the dinner and Drita says that if Renee brings up Lee it’s on and poppin. Let the poplin begin.

Renee is at Magic City (a web design company) to get her web site created. Inc stands for incarcerated not incorporated and she’s explaining how she wants her site to look like. She has really good ideas. It’s really too much to type here but basically she wants the person to feel like they are in a prison corridor.

Drita is at her photo shoot. She takes great pictures.

Renee gets a call from Nikole and tells about her lunch with Carla and how Carla told her boyfriend and her boyfriend sent her (Renee) a mean text message and AJ saw the text message. Renee called him (the boyfriend) and the phone was on speaker so AJ heard everything and the names the boyfriend called Renee. The dinner was supposed to get the BS (and it doesn’t stand for blood sugar either) out but now it’s turning into more because of Carla’s boyfriend.

Carla and Drita show up at Renee’s house but they don’t know about Karen who is to come later. Renee thinks that if Drita knew that Karen was coming she probably wouldn’t come. They begin talking about tattoos and Renee shows her tiny heart on the back of her neck. Drita shows her evil eye she had tat on the back of her neck and its cool as hell. Drita said its used to wart off evil spirtis and those that don’t wish well for her.

Since I couldn’t find an actual picture of Drita’s tattoo on line, I decided to do the next best thing. Take a picture of it via Mob Wives on VH1 itself. Thanks VH1.

All the talk of tattoos makes me want to get my second one soon. I might do it next month. I have two already, and my third one – wait – I digressed. My bad. Back to our show.

Renee takes the girls to the table and explains where everyone is sitting and Carla wants to know why is there are four settings and Drita wants to know who is coming. Renee says there’s fours bitches.

OK. I am going to do the best I can to explain the words-a-cuffs that turned into fist-a-cuffs. I’m going to do the best Howard Cosell I can (for you youngsters – Google him and you’ll find he was the greatest football announcer there was)

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN: IN THIS CORNER WITH LONG DARK HAIR AND A HUSBAND NAMED JOSEPH IN PRISON, CARLA. AND IN THIS CORNER, WITH BROWN HAIR AND MOUTH LIKE A STABLE BOY AND ADORABLE 3 YR OLD, IS DRITA. AND IN THIS CORNER, PATRON’S NUMBER ONE DRINKER (I’M SECOND IN LINE) AND THE HOSTESS WITH THE MOSTESS (FIGHTS AND CUSS WORDS) IS RENEE AND ARRIVING UPON THE STEPS, ITS KAREN “THE DULL” GRAVANO.

Drita figures that since they pulled the trick on Renee by inviting Karen without Renee’s knowledge a few weeks back, that Renee is doing the same thing. Renee says I said three people are coming, three people, I was already here. Drita reminds her that she said it was specifically her Drita and Carla and Renee owns up to the lie and said that’s the last time she’ll lie because she doesn’t lie. Carla laughs and this is where things are about to get harry. Carla feels that Renee is getting defensive about her laugh. Renee says she doesn’t lie. She may enhance a story but she doesn’t lie. Carla feels that Renee shouldn’t voice her opinion about Carla’s boyfriend but Renee feels different. She feels that she should say something to her friend about her boyfriend. Carla wants to know what issue Renee has and she states that Carla’s boyfriend is a bit touchy when he drinks. Carla’s boyfriend slapped or grabbed karen’s butt and Renee finds that quite offensive. I think the same thing too, but Carla doesn’t and just sees that as part of her boyfriend’s character. Carla’s boyfriend told Renee the other night (I’m guessing she means at Drita’s b/d party) that Renee is jealous of Carla. Renee wants to know why she would be jealous of her. Carla said its because Renee didn’t suck his cock. Renee is about to lose it. Oh by the way, Karen is not even there yet..she’s just showing up and she can hear all this yelling outside. She has now walked into the dinning room. Karen wants to know what’s going on and Renee and Carla rehash the whole thing. Karen agrees that Renee should give an opinion as Carla’s friend. Karen explains that Carla’s boyfriend grabbed her a** and that he’s groper and then Carla says to Renee, but he didn’t grab your a**. Oops. Time to go home kids. But I can’t. I have to finish writing this. I hope I don’t get hit with anything flying, like fists.

Carla feels that Renee should have said something to her that night it happened then Renee states she heard it happened. Carla states that she shouldn’t say anything if she didn’t see it happen. Renee is in the kitchen checking on the food while Carla is talking from the other room and Carla calls Renee a bitch. Renee goes back into the dinning room with her six guns a blazing.

Renee AND Carla is now face to face – LITERALLY. Now its about being called a b**ch. Drita and Karen are trying to break up Carla and Renee and Renee is telling Drita – (wait I haven’t said it all during my blog – clears throat. MY GIRL DRITA! I feel better now). Renee is telling Drita to get away from her. Carla tells Renee not to mention her boyfriends name out her mouth and Renee says “HE’S A C**T!” Carla pushs Renee via Renee’s face and those two go at it. Oh my gravy. I’m not even there and I’m nervous as all get up. Someone save me!

Damn, Drita is one strong woman. She breaks up Renee and Carla and trust me those two were locked in each other’s hair. Drita had some help from Karen and possibly a producer because you could see someone else there, but that person was blurred out. I was wondering how a fight like that could go down without the producers not getting involved.

Carla and Renee are still yelling at each other.

See this is why I like Drita. Yeah, she can cuss like a stable boy and throw down better than Royce Gracie (Google him if you’re scratching your head right now) but she doesn’t like to see things like what took place to take place. It seems to really bother her, but if she’s got to thrown down, she’s all about doing it.

Karen pushes Carla and tells her to sit down and tells Renee to sit down too. Renee goes after Carla again and Drita and Karen try to stop her again. Renee brings up the text message her son saw and that’s starts another brawl. Carla feels that Renee is just egging her own.

Drita to the camera (and I’m going to write it as she said it – usually, I try to mask some of the bad words, but going for it now), “Fuck it! If I’m going to fight I’m going to really hurt you and the way I’m going to hurt you is when I’m comfortable. And the way I’m comfortable is with no shoes” and she proceeds to take her shoes off. I think Drita was going to fight everyone because she said she wants punch everyone just to end it all. But just wants to break up the fight and try to get everyone to calm down. Drita is really trying to break them up and she’s yelling this at Karen because Karen is getting on her about something. I couldn’t figure it out. This is where I thought Drita and Karen were going to go at it, but they didn’t. Renee is still going on about the text message she received.

NEXT WEEK:

The dinner fight continue and later Karen and Drita begin yelling at each about Drita dating Karen’s ex without letting Karen know. Karen feels that Drita should have called her.

New Jersey Housewives – This one is a mess!!!!!!!!!!

OK.  I watched the show last night and there’s a lot to say and I will have to do it when I get home this evening.  But let me start out by saying this show started out with a huge fight – verbally then physically – at an after party for a baby’s christening. And the fight started when Teresa went to congratulate her brother and his wife on the christening. 

This season brings two of Teresa’s relatives.  Her sister-in-law (who I can’t stand nor sit) and her cousin.  Apparently Theresa and her brother (Joe) do not speak to each and there’s great fiction in the family because of it and other things.  The brother blames Teresa’s husband for the conflict that’s going on.

As mentioned, it was a mess.  So be prepared.  I will do the best I can to describe the incident at the dinner, but it won’t easy.  I might have to find a video and post it.

Mob Wives: Unfinished Business but with Finished Drinks

All the women show up at a club for drinks at Juliet Supper Club. This is the first time the four of them have been together since Carla’s birthday party two weeks ago. It seems this night out was Renee’s idea. Renee is used to living the high life and being catered to and she expects no less at this club. Drita (my girl Drita) states she’s the opposite. They order Patron for the table. Drita is throwing herself a birthday party and discusses that a bit. One of the lady’s notice a guy staring at Renee. The lady at the guy’s table tells them its his birthday. Renee goes to his table. To camera Karen states that wherever Renee goes shes tries to be the center of attention and Karen finds it annoying. At the other table Renee introduces herself as Anthony Graziano’s daughter and guys kinda look shocked but not the way Renee was making it sound. To me they were looking like they know the name and its association but they weren’t looking like they were terrified. Fuggetaboutit!

Renee ends up dancing with the birthday boy. The lady’s have a good time and I hope to party with them one day especially with my girl Drita. I love me some Drita.

The next day Karen and Drita meet up for lunch and reminiscence about the night they first met. Drita asks about the book and Karen says its going good but mixed emotions are coming up because a lot of stuff she is facing, she kept inside all these years. The one thing Karen still has an issue with is Drita dating Karen’s ex-boyfriend who is now Drita’s incarcerated husband Lee.

Renee is at Staten Island Special Surgery to get what’s called a skin rejuvenation. No that has nothing to do with Rhythm Nation or One Nation Under God. Drita and Carla believe in going to the gym to look good, Renee believes in plastic surgery and such to do so. This process requires lasers being slapped against your face. Um, no thank you! Renee says it, “My face is on firya”.

Carla visits Renee after her laser thing and Renee’s face is all scabbed up and red. Ladies and Gentlemen, introducing Renee Graziano as the head Zombie. Renee just thinks her eyes are swollen. AJ won’t even look at her…HA! Renee wants to have the procedure done again. Carla is looking at her like she lost her mind.

Karen is on the phone with David (her ex-boyfriend and Corrina’s father). Boring, boring, boring. NEXT!

Next scene is at Carla’s house and the song playing is “Winds of Change” by Fitz and the Tantrums. I should have formed a band and called it Nikki has a Tantrum. Anyhoo. Back at Carla’s house. Drita visits Carla. Drita asks Carla about her boyfriend. Wait, did the needle just slide across the record. Carla has a boyfriend? Isn’t she married? Why of course she is, technically. But she and Joe are headed to Divorce Court (Mon – Friday Noon – Check your local listing for channel) and Joe is cool with her having a boyfriend and she states he’s (the boyfriend) good with the kids. That’s what Drita needs to do, get herself a boyfriend. 

Meanwhile back at Karen “The Dull” Gravano’s apartment, her cousin Rena is over to help Karen with her book. She decides to do a time line.  When Karen speaks all I hear is Charlie Brown’s teacher’s voice come out of her mouth.

Drita is preparing to go out for her birthday party. They all get into a limousine and pop the cork on something that’s called whip cream vodka. Stand by one while I look this one up. Hum Big Bang while I’m gone.

Here, I found it, like I knew I would.

By the time they get to the club Drita (my girl Drita) is already gone. Drita is upset because Lee isn’t with her on her birthday and she states that he would (paraphrasing) go all out for her birthday and she’s a bit depressed. Her party is in the Chelsea room at the Hotel Chelsea.

Drita drinks some more at the place and is now drunk off her ass. She’s dancing with a group of people and then she’s kinda on the floor. Her friends, Carla and Karen are seeing this and making comments but don’t go to see how she is. Now this puzzles me, because if I saw a good friend of mine in the condition Drita was in, I would be over there checking on her. But that’s just me.

Renee goes to the bar to get a drink and low and behold, Carla’s boyfriend sits beside her and he says to her, “If I wasn’t with Carla I would be with you”. This does not set good with Renee and she tries to walk away. She goes to Carla and tries to warn her about her boyfriend but Carla is not hearing it.

The next morning Drita calls Carla and talks how how hungover she is and whatnot. Next.

Carla and Karen meet up at the gym and Carla is helping Karen on what to do to get in shape. Karen begins talking about how she never thought that her and Drita would be hanging out and such. Its all because Drita is married to Karen’s ex-boyfriend who she dated for seven years.  Karen seriously needs to get some wood, build a bridge and get over it.

Drita gets a phone call from Lee. They haven’t spoken since the big fight a while back. She talks about the mob bust and asks if Lee knows anyone that got pinched and he says yes. Nothing much there.

Karen visits Renee and talks about how she needs to speak to Drita about Lee. She feels that Drita is down playing hers (Karen’s) and Lee’s relationship.

Drita is on the phone with Lee again. Damn, how many phone calls does this fool get in prison. She’s telling Lee about Karen’s book.

Lee: “What’s so f***ing exciting about her life?”

Drita tells him that he may be in the book he states he doesn’t want to be in any book. Late that night Karen visits Drita to talk about Lee. Karen starts the conversation out in a civilized manner then she proceeds to call Lee a scumbag among other names and this upsets Drita because the way she sees it is that Karen came into her house calling her kids father a scumbag. What Karen did is disrespectful and that’s exactly what Drita said. That’s why Drita is (everyone say it with me) MY GIRL! I think Drita said the F word about 20 times in one breath. Damn that girl can cuss like a fraggin stable boy.

Next time on Mob Wives:

Renee and Carla are having lunch and Renee expresses her feelings about Carla’s boyfriend, yet again.

Carla tells Drita that Renee constantly rips people apart and Drita says if she does that
again its on and they both say together”poppin”.

I can’t tell whose house they are at, but Renee is standing up yelling across the table and her face is red as all get up. The next shot shows Carla and Renee face to face (ain’t nothing by space and opportunity now), while Drita and Karen try to break them up and all of the sudden Renee calls Carla the C word and now its On and definitely poppin. They are all throwing down and its not even Friday Night Fights. More like Sunday Night Poppin and trust me the poppin is not a dance move.

Mob Wive: Do You Know Who I Am?

Its the next day (in this case night) after the “great” mob bust (I can’t help by laugh) and Renee feels she needs to hit the bar where a friend of hers works.  Renee orders up some Patron (holla).  Then she toasts to the mob bust.  Ok, if she was so stressed out over it why bring it up again?  Oh who am I asking.  Its Renee for crying out loud.  Anyhoo.  Junior’s charges were gambling.  Really?  Then come arrest me because I’m a gambler…WAIT  – I was only joking…I mean about arresting me.  Junior made bail and his lawyers told him he’s look at possibly 18 months instead of years.  Renee decides to have a psychic party in hopes of getting some good news. 

Drita and Carla take a walk and Drita (my girl Drita) says she needs to call Renee and “squash” this F’in problem.  Carla is encouraging Drita to do just that.  To the camera Carla states that Renee is sensitive and the only way to get things resolved with her is to have a face to face.  I say face to face and patron to patron. Who’s with me?  Who’s with me?

Drita texts Renee and says she wants to talk about what happened and  invited Renee to dinner.  I want to have dinner with Drita.  I just hope I don’t make her mad and she puts me in a Peruvian necktie (UFC fans will know what I’m talking about).  

Renee reads the text and doesn’t really by it.  She feels that Drita and Carla should have came over yesterday, but like Drita said, when someone says don’t come over they mean don’t come over.  Renee responds with “Sounds like a good idea…” because she does want to hash it out and get it over with.

Quick Side Bar:  Now, I was told that when someone ends a sentence with dots it means they have more to say, but just didn’t.  Does anyone else agree? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller? Bueller?

Karen’s is over at Drita’s house.  Drita asks Karen about going to Renee’s house and Karen’s tells her the whole story.  Drita finds it funny that Karen and Renee are friends again and “gotten close” and she’s (my girl Drita) is now on the outs.  Yeah, I find that funny and you’re going to find it even funnier when you find out what Karen says to Renee about Drita.  To the camera Karen said if she had to pick sides she would pick Renee over Drita because Renee never double crossed her whereas Drita married Karen’s ex-boyfriend, and she feels that her Renee has more of a family history.  Karen tells Drita Renee is having a psychic party.

Karen is now at Renee’s house.  Renee tells Karen she’s supposed to have dinner with Drita tonight.  Renee rehashes how Drita wanted to come over (three hours later the day of the mob bust) and Renee states she was nice about it but it was phony because she was so pissed off and Karen chimes in with, “pissed off because she said she wants to ring your dumb **** neck” (I don’t think the beeped word was the F word, but I can’t figure out what they are saying).  Now really Karen.  Was that necessary to be said?  You could have just listened to Renee and kept your flap shut.

Karen admits to the camera that she shouldn’t have said anything because Renee is a drama queen and takes everything to heart.  Renee decides to cancel dinner with Drita via cell phone call and leaving a voice message.  Oh wait…Stop the presses – I think the missing word is twat.  I think!  Now Renee is going off about Lee not being a real bank robber and how if they were to play Mafia Wars (I think she means on Facebook) she would win and Karen chimes in with she might win.

At Carla’s house Joe Jr is wrestling with is sister and saying cuss words and basically doing what he wants.  Carla states that her son is the hardest to discipline because he’s not scared of her.  She could yell and yell and he wouldn’t listen.  I say take a belt to his behind and few times and he might listen.  What happened to discipline?  SOME PLEASE TELL ME.  Oh woe is me.

Joe Sr. calls home and Carla tells him about Joe Jr and he tries to talk to Joe (via phone – really) telling him to behave and not to hit his mother and all this other stuff.  Really Sr.  Jr doesn’t listen to his mother who is right there, do you really think he’s going to listen to voice on a phone.  NEXT!  I like how Sr says mutha.  She’s your mutha.  She’s your mutha.

Drita is getting ready for her dinner with No Show Renee, but before leaving she checks her voicemail and learns of Renee’s cancellation.  Drita is talking to the camera and saying that there should be a mood ring for Renee so people would know what mood she’s in.  Drita is saying something else, but I don’t know what.  Who cares, really.

Drita calls Carla to go have drinks.  The meet up and Drita tells Carla  that Renee cancelled.

Renee goes to see her therapist and per usual, she begins crying about something.

Drita and Carla are having manicures.  Carla is invited to Renee’s party but Drita is not.  But Carla wants her to come along, but Drita really doesn’t want to go with the way Renee is acting.  (I like the Ed Hardy shirt Carla is wearing by the way).

Renee’s psychic party is going on and they just had tequila shots.  She wants all the women to be read (Carla and Karen are among the guests as well as AJ).  Karen is first to be read (via tarot cards).  Oh AJ is being read by another psychic.

Karen wants her father to have peace and the psycho…I mean psychic said that’s won’t happen in this lifetime sister.  BAHAHA…she didn’t say those exact words – she said no miracle, meaning no miracle will happen to which all of Sammy’s problems will go away.

AJ wants to know about his father, this psychic says she sees the judge coming down very hard on Junior.  She says Junior will be spending a lot of time alone this year but that he needs to change his ways.

Now Renee is about to get a reading.  Drum roll please:

The psychic tells Renee she needs to decide who stays and who goes in her life.  She goes over some of  

the cards that have been presented before Renee.  Not going to go into details with that.  But the lady did     tell Renee that she doesn’t have a problem with guy friends, just with girl friends.  Well hell, I can relate to  that one about now.  The lady shows Renee the Aquarius card and Renee says that is Drita (not at the party but to the camera or a voice over – can’t remember which).  The lady said this Aquarius is really good in a crowd, they can hide in a crowd, but what Renee needs to do is have a one on one with this person.  Carla says to camera that doesn’t believe in psychics, but this one was right.

I couldn’t find the sign of Aquarius card so I just took a picture of it from the TV show Mob Wives. Thanks goes to Vh1 (the actual channel) for allowing me (without them knowing) to photograph this picture and post it on my blog.  I will be waiting for the court documents telling me I’m being sued.

After hearing what the lady said she decides to reschedule the dinner with Drita.

At Carla’s house Jr. is playing Angry Birds on an iTouch (I just had to point that out).  Her mother is over there helping with the kids homework.  Her and her mother talk about Joe Sr being in prison and how Carla has never told them that’s where he is.  She knows she needs to tell them soon.

Drita and Renee are going to meet up for dinner at the Buddha Lounge.  Interesting place for two hot heads to have a sit down – Buddha Lounge.  Oh before Drita left her house she said (to camera) that she only apologizes once and when she does you better take it and run with it.  At dinner (no food was being served though) they both agree they both have hot tempers and neither of them back down to anyone.  Drita really takes in what Renee is saying and realizes that she’s right and thus apologizes (for a second time) for her words.  They are laughing and still talking with menues in  front of them now.  Ahhhhhhhhhh, they hugged.  Drita is going to have the Lobster Explosion and Renee was just told (by the waitress) about drink called The Crazy Mama.  Renee feels its fitting and orders it. 

     

I have inter-seed and say this Buddha Lounge scene was fully of bad editing, but you would have to  have caught it quickly because they did a good job it making sure the cameras were on the women most of the time instead of the table.  But you would see glasses then no glasses then glasses – or menus then no menus and then menus again.

Renee and Karen are at a club having drinks (big surprise) and some guy comes over and is hitting on Karen saying he has pictures he wants to show her – sexual pictures.  He says he has sex written all over him.  Renee intervenes and tells the guy he should apologize and he says he’s not talking to her and the two go at it.  But here’s what killed me about the whole thing…Renee decides to call Junior to come defend her.  My thing is, her mouth is writing a check her ass can’t cash.  She needs to call Junior to cash it.  Well in the end Junior and the guy talk it over (though you never actually hear the conversation) and the guy ends apologizing to Renee.  Renee walks away thinking she’s big sh*t and all, like she’s the one that put the guy in his place.

Next Week:

The gang is at a club (oh I’m so shocked that they would be at a club) and Drita is drunk off her behind.  Carla’s boyfriends sits besides Renee and apparently says something inappropriate and Renee tries to walk away.  Drita (obviously the next day and sober Drita) is telling (I think her husband) that Karen is writing a book and he may be in it and he said he doesn’t want to be in no book.  Um, so yeah, my TiVo cut off then.  I don’t think there much more to the previews anyways.

Mob Wives: Mob Bust and so was the show

The show opens with Drita and her friend Michelle getting a pedicure and Drita is talking about when Lee got arrested she lost the house, her job and everything else.  She mostly focuses on how it effects the kids when something like this happens.  So basically, that scene was setting up the rest of the blah blah blah show.

Karen The Dull Gravano hires a writing coach to help her writing this damn book of hers that no one really cares about (um, so yeah, I will be purchasing a copy – future guilty pleasure in the works for me).
But what exactly is a writing coach?  According to Boring, I mean Karen, she has this writing coach to help her bring out the emotions in her book.  Again, really? Just like you had to go back to Staten Island to get the mentality to write the book you need a writing coach to help you bring out the emotions?  Um, you lived it you fool face bag.  The emotions should be easy for you to express.  But whatever.  Anyhoo.  I decided to try to find a good definition of a writing coach and Renee (last name has been withheld to protect the innocent – namely me), who say this about herself being a writing coach and what she does:
    
            “I take writers (of all levels and genres) and provide them with tools and strategies to make 
            them the best version of themselves. And like a basketball coach, the goal is to provide enough 
            guidance that eventually, your students will graduate to the next level.” 

Next we see Renee shopping for a fur coat.  Whatever.  NEXT!

Karen and her cousin decide to go visit some of Sammy’s old places, like where he “worked” (wink, wink) and where she lived.  She tells very interesting stories – NOT!  CHECK PLEASE.

Renee is talking with her son AJ about his feelings about his father and the disappointments he’s had.  AJ is the type of person to basically keep things inside, but he tells Renee he handles things his way.  She’s concerned he’s going to flip out one day.  She just wants him to open up more, but he won’t.  I really do like the relationship Renee has with her son and I know she cares for him and he for her.

Drita and her daughter Aleeya are making a scrap book for her husband and she’s talking to Aleeya about her father.  Aleeya tells her mother that waiting six hours (because that’s how long the drive to the prison is) and then waiting some more time in the waiting room is not what she wants to do.  Drita takes this as Aleeya not wanting to see her father in prison and that it really hurts her (Aleeya).

Meanwhile, back at the ranch…

They show Renee and her son AJ watching Fox News and the Attorney General of NY is giving a press conference about the mob busts.  Renee states (voice over) that she received a phone call at 5:30am about the mob bust.  After watching the press conference (actually, I think Renee and AJ turned the TV off) Renee begins talking to AJ about all this and how he was without a father in his childhood and blah blah blah.  Trust me, it really was all blah blah blah.  You know those Charlie Brown cartoons and the way the teachers sounded when they talked?  That’s how Renee was sounding to me.  I tuned a lot of it out.

Drita (at her house) is watching the news and is having a hard time watching it because having all these people arrested affects the family and causes kids to cry and so forth.

Renee calls a friend of hers to find out how Junior got arrested and exactly where is he located.  She states (in her voice, not to caller) that her phone hasn’t stopped ringing since the news broke.  She states she hasn’t had time to herself.  Oh she also states its all five crime families that were hit, The Banano, The Columbo (wait, isn’t that detective in a trench coat – BAHAHAHA – hey, humor never hurt no one), The Genovese (and that’s all the names given).

Since her and Drita (love me some Drita) aren’t talking to each other, she decides to call Carla for support, but Carla had no idea whats was going on.  She stated she was at the gym.  Um, excuse me, but don’t gym’s have TVs?  Just asking.  Anyhoo. Carla tells Renee that she’s at the gym and she needs to go home and take a shower.  Renee asks Carla if she can come over.  Carla again states she has to take a shower, but adds maybe she’ll come over.  Renee is not happy to hear that.  She feels that Carla should just come over because  they live this “lifestyle” and know what each other are going through.  Again, Charlie Brown’s teacher’s voice coming out of Renee.  Drita decides the despite their fued, she would call Renee to check up on her because she knows what Renee is going through.  (Where’s the AWWWWW sound machine when you need it)?  Drita keeps asking who’s the rat.

Once they hang up Renee is mad…well more like disappointed, that Drita didn’t come over to see her.  But you know, I kinda see why Drita didn’t go over.  If I got into a big fight with a friend of mine, I would phone first and feel things out and then maybe go over.  Renee on the other would have put all the arguments and bitterness aside and been at your front door.  She believes strongly in loyalty.  All of the sudden, Renee doorbell rings and guess who it is?  DRUM ROLL PLEASE….it’s Boring, I mean Karen.  Yeah, of all people to show up, Karen does.

Carla is now at Drita’s house.  Oh ok.  Now I get it.  Carla went to Drita’s house to basically get Drita and go to Renee’s together.  I personally think Carla could have told Renee that when Renee called her.

Carla and Drita are at Drita’s kitchen table discussing the arrests.  Meanwhile at Renee’s Karen says to the camera that she went to Renee’s house to show support for her as one mother to another and not as gangsters.  Karen basically wants to put her and Renee’s differences aside.  They talk so more and as Karen is leaving Renee tells her that she really appreciates her coming over and it means more to her than Karen will ever know.  Then Renee says, “So you know what’s so funny? Out of all the girls that are my friends, you’re the only one that came.”  She has a good point there.  Oh hell, I think everyone makes good points.

Carla and Drita call Renee and Drita yells, “I wanna see you.”  Renee explains that she’s had a rough day and is mentally exhausted and that she needs to regroup.  So she basically shoed off Drita and Carla because she was basically over those two not showing up.

The rest of the show shows Karen talking to her brother about their father and then Renee going to see her therapist to talk about Junior and all she goes through.

     and the rest of the gang just goes away.

Now, Next week on Mob Wives:
      -Renee gets into an argument with a bar patron, but then turns around and call Junior for backup (well we now know that Junior and safe and sound on the streets of Staten Island – I feel so much safer now knowing that)
    
And that’s how we roll here on Staten Island – OK, I’m really in Nor Cal, but a girl can dream can’t she?
